1. Agreement to Terms
By booking or using services from Aircond Man ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Aircond Man provides air conditioning services including but not limited to:
- General service and maintenance
- Chemical wash and chemical overhaul
- Installation and dismantling
- Repair and troubleshooting
- Gas top-up and leak repair
- Commercial HVAC services
Service availability may vary by location within our service area (Klang Valley).
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Booking Process
Appointments can be booked via WhatsApp, phone call, or our website contact form. Booking confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp.
3.2 Appointment Window
Appointments are typically available within 2-4 business days. We operate Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
3.3 Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your aircond units and issues
- Ensure an adult is present during the service appointment
- Provide safe access to the aircond units
- Clear the area around units to allow work
- Inform us of any special access requirements (high security buildings, etc.)
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
Prices are as quoted at the time of booking or as listed on our website. Prices may vary based on:
- Unit size (HP)
- Unit type (wall mount, cassette, ducted)
- Service required
- Additional work discovered during service
4.2 Additional Charges
Additional work beyond the quoted scope will be communicated and quoted before proceeding. You have the right to decline additional work.
Gas top-up is charged separately based on amount required and gas type.
4.3 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept:
- Cash
- Online bank transfer
- Credit/debit card (where available)
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
5.1 Customer Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee.
5.2 Our Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to:
- Weather conditions affecting safe work
- Technician illness or emergency
- Unforeseen circumstances
We will provide as much notice as possible and offer priority rescheduling.
6. Warranty
6.1 Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 30-day workmanship warranty for water leaking issues related to our service. If your unit leaks water within 30 days after our service, we will return to fix it at no additional charge.
6.2 Spare Parts Warranty
Spare parts replaced during repair carry a 90-day warranty against defects. This warranty covers the cost of the replacement part only.
6.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- Issues unrelated to our service
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents
- Pre-existing conditions not caused by our service
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues arising from other service providers' work
- Damage from power surges or electrical issues
6.4 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, contact us via WhatsApp with your service receipt and description of the issue. We will arrange a follow-up visit within 3 business days.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions
- We are not liable for damage caused by unit age, wear, or defects
8. Property Access and Damage
8.1 Access
By booking our service, you authorize our technicians to access your property to perform the agreed services.
8.2 Incidental Damage
We take care to avoid damage to your property. Minor marks or dust from normal service work are expected and not considered damage. If significant damage occurs due to our negligence, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
8.3 Pre-existing Conditions
We are not responsible for damage or issues that existed before our service, including but not limited to:
- Aged or deteriorating wall mounts
- Existing wall damage
- Pre-existing unit defects
9. Service Area
Our primary service area covers the Klang Valley including Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Puchong, Cheras, and surrounding areas. Service availability outside these areas is subject to confirmation.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
